オーストラリアでレストラン探しする時に役立つ、オーストラリア版のミシュラン的存在、【Good Food Guide（グッド・フード・ガイド）】について、ご紹介します。

Good Food Guideとは？
Good Food Guideは40年の歴史があり、オーストラリアの500軒程度のレストランを対象に、審査員が予告なく、一般のお客さんとして訪れ評価していくもので、オーストラリア版のミシュランとイメージすると１番わかりやすいかと思います。
ミシュランとの違いとしては、ミシュランは星ですが、Good Food Guideはハット（帽子）で１〜３を表現するところ。
こんな感じで。
ミシュランの星の意味するところは、
１つ星：そのカテゴリーで特においしい料理
２つ星：遠回りしてでも訪れたい料理
３つ星：そのために旅行する価値のある卓越した料理
ですが、Good Food Guideも同様の意味合いと思って良いと思います。
